Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy (Recommended Separate Page)
Non-Refundable Deposit Policy – Please Read Carefully
At Braids By Lin, we value your time and ours. To secure your appointment and reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows, we require a non-refundable deposit of $30 for all appointments.
Important Details About the $30 Non-Refundable Deposit:
- The $30 deposit must be paid at the time of booking to reserve your spot.
- This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if you cancel, reschedule, or do not show up for your appointment.
- The $30 deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your braiding service if you attend the appointment.
- The deposit helps cover the time we set aside exclusively for you, as well as any preparation (such as ordering specific hair or planning your custom style).
- Booking an appointment with us means you agree to this non-refundable $30 deposit policy.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Rules:
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the full forfeiture of your $30 deposit, and you may be required to pay a new deposit to rebook.
- No-shows (failing to appear without any notice) will result in loss of the deposit, and future bookings may require a higher deposit or prepayment.
- In rare cases of genuine emergencies (with supporting documentation), we may offer a one-time courtesy transfer of the deposit to a new appointment at our sole discretion. This is not guaranteed.
Payment Terms:
- Remaining balance is due in full on the day of your appointment before services begin (cash, card, or approved digital payment).
- We accept major credit/debit cards, Cash App, Zelle, and Apple Pay (subject to change).
- Prices for services are subject to change and will be confirmed at booking.
Additional Client Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time or rescheduling.
- Come with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise instructed.
- Provide accurate information about your hair history and any allergies.
- Children must be supervised; we are not responsible for childcare during your appointment.
By booking an appointment with Braids By Lin, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to our non-refundable $30 deposit policy, along with all other terms outlined here.
